🏌️‍♂️ Arthur’s Golf Obsession: A Swing Through Retirement

Arthur is 75 years old and has played golf every single day since retiring 15 years ago. Rain or shine, holiday or hangover — if there’s grass and gravity, Arthur’s swinging.

His wife, Margaret, once asked, “Arthur, do you love golf more than me?”

He paused, adjusted his visor, and said, “Well, golf never asks me to take out the trash.”

Arthur’s dedication is legendary. He once played through a thunderstorm, claiming, “Lightning never strikes a man with a perfect backswing.” He was wrong — but the paramedics said his form was impressive.

Neighbors say they’ve seen him tee off in pajamas, chase squirrels off the green, and argue with a goose over ball placement. The goose won.

Last Christmas, his family gifted him a GPS tracker — not for safety, but so they could find him when he wandered off to play “just one more hole.”

Arthur claims golf keeps him young. His knees disagree, but his spirit is still doing victory laps around the 18th hole.
